Laal Singh Chaddha, a Hindi remake of Tom Hanks’ Forrest Gump, will be released on the scheduled date, Aamir Khan Productions clarified in a statement on Friday. After rumors surfaced about the film’s new release date, the creators released a statement which read: ‘Aamir Khan Productions’ Laal Singh ChaddhaBaisakhi release date is April 14, 2022, contrary to some misleading stories. Once again, we would like to thank everyone who supported us in the making of this film. Produced by Viacom 18 Studios and Aamir Khan productions, Laal Singh Chaddha will be directed by Advait Chandan with music by Pritam and lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. The film was adapted by Atul Kulkarni.”

The film was directed by Advait Chandan. Laal Singh Chaddha is co-produced by Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and Viacom 18 Motion Pictures. In Laal Singh Chaddha, Aamir Khan is seen sharing screen space with him 3 idiots Co-stars Kareena Kapoor and Mona Singh. It will also star Naga Chaitanya.
The film, due out on Baisakhi this year, will clash with Yash’s KGF: Chapter 2. In an interview last year, Aamir Khan revealed that he checked with Yash before setting the film’s release date.
During an interview with the PTI news agency previously, the lagan The actor opened up about why he decided to do a remake Forrest Gump and said, “I’ve always loved Forrest Gump as a script. It’s a wonderful story about this character. It’s a life-affirming story. It’s a feel-good film. It’s a family movie.” The actor was last seen in the film in 2018 Thug of Hindostan.
