To reach the Olympics, a player has to fight a lot and make a lot of sacrifices. Something similar had to be done by Lal Lalit Upadhyay of Kashi. He went to India Camp in Bangalore just four days before his older brother’s wedding and was unable to attend the wedding. Because of this passion of Lalit, who shimmered for the Indian ice hockey team in Commonwealth, Asia, world championships, job offers from railways and banks often came. But Lalit, who had the dream of Olympia, refused to do the job.
Lalit is currently preparing for the Bangalore Olympics. Vows and prayers are made for his success in Bhagatpur in his village of Shivupar in Banaras. Mother Rita tells that her son’s sacrifice made her successful. Lalit has been very promising since childhood, he makes every decision himself. Now the team selection for the Olympic Games has been made. I am blessed that my son succeeds here too. See next slides….
