Karnataka Rajyotsava: Rajinikanth, Jr NTR twin in white as they honor late actor Puneeth Rajkumar
The Karnataka Rajyotsava Awards ceremony was held today in Bangalore, where Rajinikanth and Jr NTR were the main guests. Now, some glimpses of this ceremony have appeared on social networks. Both stars can be seen twinned in white at the event. The late power star Puneeth Rajkumar was posthumously awarded the Karnataka Ratna Award during the ceremony.
For those who don’t know, Puneet Rajkumar left a huge void in Chandan after suffering a massive heart attack in October last year. He was only 46 years old at the time, and many of his Kannada projects were waiting to be released at that time.

Puneet Rajkumar’s lessons in schools
Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai made another announcement in honor of the late actor. He announced that a lesson on the life of the late Kannada actor would be included in the school curriculum. He revealed, “We will do whatever is possible. Puneet Rajkumar did a remarkable job in terms of humanitarian work. The fact that Puneet Rajkumar donated his organs says a lot about the kind of person he was. Many more have stepped forward. Offer the eyes of him since the death of him.”

Puneet Rajkumar’s last appearance on the big screen was the 2022 documentary drama titled Gandha Gudi. The actor explored the wildlife of Karnataka along with award-winning wildlife filmmaker Amoghavarsha JS in the film. Amoghavarsha JS has also directed the play.
The project was released in theaters on October 28 this year and was well received by the public. The film holds a very special place in the hearts of fans for a number of reasons. It marks Puneet Rajkumar’s last screen appearance and was released on October 29, the first anniversary of his death.
