According to the magazine, Kareena Kapoor Khan plays a mother and a detective who has to investigate a murder in a small town in Buckinghamshire. The working title of the upcoming film is The Buckingham Murders. Speaking about her role, the actress further said, “I love Easttown Mare and when Hansal approached me, I said this is something I would like to do. So we’ve kind of shaped those lines a bit, she plays a police detective in that. This is the first time I’ve come across this.

The #BoycottBollywood trend started even before the release of several films like Laal Singh Chaddha, Liger, Brahmastra and Raksha Bandhan last year. This trend affected the box office business of some films. Speaking of this, Kareena said: ‘I don’t agree with this at all. If this happens, how are we going to entertain ourselves, how will you have joy and happiness in your life, which I think everyone needs and what cinema and movies are promising, what have we always done, what movies have always been? If there are no movies then how will the entertainment be.
On the professional front, Kareena has several projects lined up. She will next be seen in Sujoy Ghosh’s thriller, which is based on The Devotion of Suspect X. The film also stars Vijay Varma and Jaideep Ahlawat. Apart from this, she also has the upcoming untitled film from director Hansal Mehta. She also has an upcoming comedy film The Crew with Tabu and Kriti Sanon.
