Kapil Sharma SHOCKS Indian Idol 13 judges Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani, Himesh Reshammiya by revealing he was REJECTED for singing reality show
Kapil Sharma is often seen showing off his singing skills on The Kapil Sharma Show. The comedian is also admired by popular singers who make guest appearances on his comedy shows. When Indian Idol 13 judges Neha Kakkar, Vishal Dadlani and Himesh Reshammiya visited the show, Kapil revealed that he had auditioned for the singing reality show but was rejected.
During a conversation with Indian Idol 13 judges and contestants Vineet Singh, Rishi Singh, Navdeep Wadali and Sanchari Sengupta, Kapil said that he used to participate in all the reality shows hoping to get selected. After this he tried his luck at Indian Idol but was not selected. Later, he auditioned for the similar reality show Awaaz Punjab Di and fortunately got shortlisted there.
At the same time, Kapil was also cast in the comedy-based reality show The Laughter Challenge. She did some self-analysis and decided to take part in The Laughter Challenge, which later brought her immense popularity and success.
“To be honest, I used to audition for all kinds of shows, with the simple motivation that ‘Kahin nahi kahin toh ghush hi jaunga’ (I’ll get a ticket somewhere). But I am extremely happy to see how the ‘Indian Idol’ judge is here as a guest of our show,” Kapil said on the show. His candid revelations certainly shook the Indian Idol 13 judges.
Meanwhile, Kapil will be seen playing the lead role in Nandita Das’s upcoming film Zwigato, which also stars Shahana Goswami and Tushar Acharya. Kapil plays the role of factory manager Manas, who loses his job with the onset of COVID-19. To support his family of five, including his wife Pratima (played by Shahana Goswami), two sons, and his elderly mother, Manas manages to find a job delivering food with an app called Zwigato.
