Judge BK Narayan, Allahabad High Court judge, has been appointed chairman of the Uttar Pradesh Human Rights Commission. According to Governor Anandiben Patel’s letter of appointment, his appointment was for a period of three years from the date of inauguration or until the age of 70, whichever comes first. Judge Balkrishna Narayan resigned from Allahabad High Court last July after a successful 12-year tenure.
