Just ‘a while’ for Deepika Padukone to party on Holi; best wishes to fans

Deepika Padukone, who is currently busy shooting for her next film Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan in Spain, took to her social media handle and extended her best wishes on the occasion of Holi with a heartfelt post. The actress gleefully said that she was ‘a little late’ to the party, however, she made sure to send her wishes. Sharing a picture of a beautiful colorful bouquet, Deepika wrote, “It’s been a while to the party but wishing everyone a very Happy Holi! #Holi #Tyohaar #Rang” She added her song Balam Pichkari from Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani in the background. The ‘Grahaaiyaan’ actress’ post caught the attention of her fans, who showered the comments section with well wishes. One wrote, “Happy Holi Ma’am,” while the other said, “Love you Deepu and Happy Holi”.

Note, a few weeks back, Deepika left for Spain to continue shooting for Siddharth Anand’s directorial. She was accompanied by Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. However, John returned to Mumbai with his wife Priya Runchal within a few days. A few weeks back, the makers of Pathan released the teaser and created excitement among the fans.

Deepika was last seen in Shakun Batra’s directorial venture ‘Gehraiyaan’ alongside Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karva. The actress was highly praised for her performance in the film. The actress now has spy thriller Fighter in the pipeline. The film stars Hrithik Roshan in the lead role against the actress. This will be their first collaboration.
