The revised physics curriculum covers topics such as Newton’s laws of motion, inertial and uniformly accelerated frames of reference, static and dynamic friction, kinetic and potential energy, work and power, conservation of momentum and mechanical energy. The course also covers the law of gravitation, gravitational potential and field, acceleration due to gravity, Kepler’s law, geostationary orbits, movement and escape velocity in circular orbits of planets and satellites.
The general section in the chemistry course covers concepts of atoms and molecules, Dalton’s atomic theory, mole concept, chemical formulas, balanced chemical equations, calculations (based on mole concept and stoichiometry) including general oxidation-reduction, neutralization and displacement. Reactions are included. Concentration in terms of mole fraction, molarity, molality and normality.
The math section covers sets, relationships and functions, algebra, differential calculus, integral calculus, and vectors. It also contains matrices and probabilities.
