In a recent interaction with Pinkvilla, Jaideep Ahlawat spoke about her admiration for Irrfan Khan. Some time ago, the Raazi actor also visited Irrfan’s house and wrote about it on Instagram. During a conversation with Pinkvilla, the late actor’s wife, Sutapa Sikdar, also sent a surprise audio note to Jaideep. “I just want to tell you one thing. All my blessings are always with you as you remind me so much of Irrfan. The passion, the kind of roles they are choosing and what makes me feel very calm and happy is that the relay race that started now it has been handed over to you,” Sutapa said.
He continued, “You guys are lighting the flame very well, I wish and hope that you win the race and take it to the youth to come. With lots of love, you feel like family. It was great meeting you and my best wishes are always with you.” Jaideep also talks fondly about spending time at Irrfan and Sutapa’s residence.

Jaideep Ahlawat recalled: “It was a wonderful day. I got a message from him, ‘Irrfan had planted some trees, it has fruit. If you’re free, he comes home. I always remembered that line, and when I posted that image, it was also written in the caption. The pads you planted have borne fruit, and it’s symbolic in that they’ve inspired many like me, and I hope we continue to grow and contribute. So I went to his house and spent a lot of time there. We talked for about three or four hours on many topics. The Paatal Lok actor met Irrfan Khan at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII), when the former was a student there.
