International Yoga Day 2021: Students demonstrated Yogasan through posters in Varanasi

On the occasion of World Yoga Day in Varanasi, people practiced yoga from the terrace of the house to the ghats, parks and apartments. On the other hand, an online poster competition was organized by the Department of Physical Education at Agrasen Kanya PG College. In which the students showed yoga asanas with colors and lines and made them aware of the benefits of yoga.The college’s director, Anil Kumar Jain, appreciated the students’ art and encouraged them to adopt yoga for health in their lives. The director of the college, Dr. Kumkum Malviya said that through yoga we can build a good society by keeping our minds and bodies healthy.

Dr. Mridula Vyas, chair of the physical education department, said that by practicing yoga regularly, we can avoid all physical disturbances. Post-Covid patients can strengthen the body’s defenses through yoga.

Women did yoga online in the apartment
Yoga was also practiced in various housing associations and apartments in the city. Women who live in the Ganpati Residency did yoga together on Google Meet. Vygra Foundation members practiced yoga with their families. At the same time, a yoga exercise program was organized under the joint auspices of the All India Roti Bank Trust, the Motiwala Foundation Charitable Trust and the Kesridevi Charitable Trust.
