Appealingly, the Divisional Commissioner said that due to Kovid-19, the festivals should be celebrated by observing social distancing. At the same time, all SDMs and station managers were instructed to clean the routes related to Kanwar Yatra and to have the wires hanging over the pagodas repaired. Do not use indecent songs about DJ during Kanwar Yatra. Only religious and social songs should be used. Special attention should be paid to the sound of the DJ in normal decibels. He said that wherever there is a sacrificial site in Bakrid, it should be cleaned and the sacrifice should only be made in the designated place. A new place should not be used for sacrifice and prohibited animals should not be sacrificed. The pig farm should be closed for at least five days. DPRO and municipality should ensure cleanliness in their respective areas. Special precautions should be taken for the water supply in Nagar Panchayat and, after the sacrifice, it should be ensured that the debris is not thrown in public places or outdoors. District Judge Aditi Singh said that water is offered to Baleshwar Temple by taking water from Mahavir Ghat and Shivrampur Ghat, and water is offered to Shiva temples in rural areas. Arrangements for changing clothes and for divers, ambulances, boats etc. should be ensured at the ghats. In this context, the meeting of the Peace Committee will take place at all police stations. The festivals are safely concluded by speaking to religious leaders on both sides.
