On Tuesday afternoon, investigating officer VN Tiwari along with his junior clerk Shailesh Kumar and fisherman Diwakar Verma reached the house of the chairman of Matsya Jeev Cooperative Society in Mathia Bahadur village of Dhanpatganj development block to investigate the records under the Cooperative Societies Act. The Investigating Officer questioned him about the records. They could not show any records. When asked about the office and the warehouse, he called the Peepal tree as the office and the thatch built on the banks of the Gomti river as a warehouse.
The investigating officer alleges that the members and the secretaries present on the spot got bent on fighting and quarreling with them in support of the chairperson of the committee. Seeing the matter getting serious, Investigating Officer VN Tiwari along with his team came back from the spot. VN Tiwari said that the District Magistrate, Chief Development Officer and Deputy Director Matsya will complain about this matter to Ayodhya.
