On October 10, in Delhi, the Secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Jay Shah and the President of the Board of Control for Cricket in India, Roger Binny, organized a felicitation ceremony to honor the Indian crew. The Indian crew received the gold medal on the 2023 Asian Games by competing towards Afghanistan within the last match of the match.
In the ultimate, Afghanistan set a goal of 112 runs for India throughout its batting innings. However, the match was deserted as a result of rain interference and India have been declared winners based mostly on their larger seeding.
