In The Month Of July, The Railways Collected A Fine Of Rs 524 For Every Minute

Moradabad. Railways has earned good revenue from fines by running an intensive ticket checking campaign in the month of July. In the 31 days of July, a total fine of Rs 2 crore 34 lakh 26 thousand 845 has been collected from 45 thousand 620 passengers. Thus a fine of Rs 524 has been collected from a passenger every minute. Railways is maintaining this campaign, so that those who travel without tickets in trains can be curbed. Intensive checking will be done against those traveling in trains without tickets. Senior DCM Rekha Sharma says that fines are being collected by campaigning against those traveling without tickets as well as those who do not wear masks. He has appealed to the passengers to travel only after buying tickets as per the reservation and also to use masks in the railway premises.
