Dhampur. The festival of Eid-ul-Adha in the urban area was concluded with great pomp and peace. Muslims offered namaz in mosques according to government policy. There was no prayer in Idgah. No one can offer namaz in Idgah. Police were deployed there for this purpose.
Maulanas prayed in mosques. While most of the people offered namaz in their homes with the family. The city imam Mufti Mohammad Qamar offered Namaz in the Jama Masjid. After namaz was offered, animals were sacrificed. Trilokchand, a resident of the Kankhedi village in the area, complained that animals had never been sacrificed in his village before. But this time it was sacrificed. Because of this, there was dissatisfaction among the villagers. People later stepped in and calmed the matter down. After completing the oath prayers, people hugged and congratulated each other.
SDM Dhirendra Singh says that the feast of Eid in the Tehsil area was completed peacefully. There is no bad news from anywhere. The officers themselves remained on patrol with the police in the area. Several teams were deployed to closely monitor the villages. The municipal administration has taken extensive precautions for cleanliness.
