‘I just wanted to know if I’m alive or not’

A few weeks back, Malaika Arora had an accident near Mumbai on April 2, after which she was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment. He was discharged a day after that. He had a minor injury near his eye. Apparently, she was resting her head on a cushion, which softened the impact of the accident. As Malaika is on her way to recovery, she recalls her traumatic accident and said that after her car was hit, she only wanted to know whether he was alive or not. “It’s not something I want to remember. Nor is it something I can forget. Physically, I’m recovering, but mentally, I feel like it’s not going away completely.” Sometimes, if I’m watching a movie depicting an accident or a bloody show, I get flashes that make my spine cringe. I’ll have to go through this process, and eventually I’ll be able to get through it ,” Malaika told Mid-Day. She continued, “I was in shock. [On collision]My head was hurting, and I just wanted to know whether I was alive or not. There was too much blood, too much commotion to understand what was happening. After being discharged from the hospital, Malaika thanked the doctors, friends and family members for being with her. “The last few days and the events unfolding have been quite unbelievable. Thinking about it in retrospect it feels like a scene from a movie and nothing really happened. A big heart to each of you for sure. Thank you. I come out of this with renewed vigor. I assure you, I am a fighter and before you know it, I will be back,” read an excerpt from her Instagram post.
