Recong Peo / Rampur. HRTC will operate buses on interstate routes on 18 routes from Rampur and Kinnaur on Thursday. This gives tourists, including the district’s population, the opportunity to move to other states such as Delhi, Chandigarh. Bus connections will be available from July 1 on the Delhi, Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Chandigarh routes from the Reckong Peo bus depot. Buses will also start on the Sangla to Delhi route, which will cover the longest stretch of the Reckong Peo Bus Depot.
This bus leaves Sangla at 7:00 am and covers a distance of approximately 625 km. On the other hand, from Reckong Peo at 6:00 am, the bus will reach Haridwar via Chandigarh after traveling 590 km via Saharanpur. The bus will reach Chandigarh from Ribba at 7:15 am and will cover a distance of 400 km. From Ropa, the bus travels 310 km via Sunni to reach Shimla at 9:35 a.m. Apart from that, Chandigarh is reached by night buses from Reckong Peo via Chitkul at 12 noon.
The deluxe bus leaves Reckong Peo for Chandigarh at 1:30 pm. Apart from that, the bus service from Nichar to Nalagarh starts at 5 a.m., Yangpa to Chandigarh at 5:15 a.m. Bus traffic has started from Reckong Peo Bus Depot on 50 routes including rural routes.
