Saharapur. Members of the Collectorate Bar Association and the Saharanpur Advocates Association presented a memorandum to District Judge Akhilesh to the Prime Minister demanding the establishment of a Supreme Court bank in western Uttar Pradesh. He said that the people of western Uttar Pradesh are facing great difficulties due to the lack of a bank. This is what lawyers have been campaigning for for almost 38 years.
In the memorandum presented to the district judge on Monday, he said the high court is in Allahabad and the bank is in Lucknow. The distance of these two places from Saharanpur is 700 and 500 km, respectively. Because of the great distance, the time and money of the residents of western Uttar Pradesh are wasted. Which goes against the concept of cheap and accessible justice in the Constitution. He told the Prime Minister that your party has an absolute majority government in the center and in the state, so the people and supporters of the west of Uttar Pradesh have many expectations.
He said that in the face of public opinion, action should be taken to set up a bank of the Allahabad High Court in western Uttar Pradesh. The President of the Collectorate Bar Association, Raj Kumar Verma, the General Secretary Arvind Kumar Saini, the President of the Saharanpur Advocates Association, Abhay Singh Saini, the General Secretary Rahul Tyagi, Arvind Sharma, Harnath Singh etc.
