The Prime Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Bal Seva Yojana, who is responsible for the maintenance, education, health and care of the children orphaned by the covid-19 epidemic, took office on Thursday. It was launched by Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath through a virtual medium in Lok Bhavan, Lucknow. The program was broadcast live on the NIC in the Collectorate. The DM then presented the five identified children with certificates.
DM TK Shibu said that the children who were orphaned due to the covid-19 epidemic, whose parents or one of the parents died, provided their financial support to organize their livelihoods, education and medical care, etc. The Prime Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Bal Seva Yojana, was created for this purpose.
Thereafter, all children between the ages of zero and 18 who lost an income-dependent guardian from their parents due to the covid-19 epidemic were included in this system.
He further said that at the same time, the placement in state institutions that take care of the upkeep, education and safety of children who were destitute from Corona, the legal protection of movable and immovable property, an assistance of 1.01,000 rupees for the marriage of daughters, arrangements have been made for free education, laptops and tablets etc. for the vocational students in Kasturba Gandhi Balika or Atal Residential Schools.
CDO Ishan Pratap Singh said that so far five eligible children under Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojana have been identified who have received certificates. At the same time, all children who have become destitute due to the corona epidemic are identified and benefit from this program.
On the occasion, the joint magistrate and intern IAS Parikshit Khatana, additional District Judge Yoganand Pandey and District Probation Officer Mohan Tripathi and other officials were present.
