Gondola. The special campaign to fight communicable diseases was launched on Thursday by Gandhi Park’s chief medical officer. The CMO marked the reconnaissance vehicle. ACMO Dr. RP Singh announced that this campaign will run for about a month to protect children from AES, vomiting and diarrhea etc.
Medical kits are already being distributed with the help of monitoring committees. In addition to cleanliness, this will also include programs for drug distribution and public awareness-raising. This special campaign is carried out in coordination with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Urban Development and the Tax Office, etc.
As part of this special campaign to fight communicable diseases, the Dastak campaign will also run from July 12th to July 25th. Under the Dastak Abhiyan, ASHA staff will go door-to-door to identify TB patients and a Mass Drug Administration (MDA) program will be run to protect them from filariasis. People are given antifilaria drugs.
This medicine is given to all patients except children under two years of age, pregnant women and critical patients. The people involved in the campaign were also trained. On that occasion, the executive officer appealed to the community to make the environment clean, healthy and beautiful. (Conversation)
