Shahjahanpur. The strike of 108, 102 and ALS ambulance workers continued on the Government Medical College campus on the third day under the aegis of the Jeevandayini organization. On Sunday, SP District President Tanveer Khan encouraged staff by joining the dharna. The staff presented SP District President Tanveer Khan with a memorandum addressed to SP National President Akhilesh Yadav.
The striking workers demand that the workers do not change when there is a change of company. Experienced ambulance drivers should be employed. Ambulance drivers who work as Corona warriors are to be excluded from the award of the contract. 50 lakh and aid are to be released by the government to the families of the relatives of the ambulance drivers who died during the Corona period. In the event of a change of company, no deduction may be made from the employee’s salary. District President Tanveer Khan said the SP government had done the job of livelihood for the poor by running an ambulance, but the BJP government was working to snatch livelihoods from the poor. District President Sikander Khan, District General Secretary Sudhir Kumar Singh, District Treasurer Shailendra Kumar Singh, District Vice President Rakesh Kumar, District Organization Minister Arjun Singh, Patron Arjun Srivastava, etc. were present on this occasion.
