Health – District Hospital CMS and L2 Hospital Node Officer suspended

The government provided 16 ventilators to the district hospital in July 2020 after Corona wreaked havoc last year. These fans were never used. After the second wave of Corona, the district hospital’s CMS handed over all ventilators to the L-2 Kovid Hospital. What is special is that ventilators were not used in the L-2 Kovid Hospital either. Apart from that, the work on the oxygen station should be completed by September 2020, which went unnoticed. The staff could not be tasked with starting the ventilator, which kept receiving complaints. Shamim Ahmed Khan, the knot officer and college division secretary who conducted a surprise inspection of Kovid Hospital on Thursday, showed negligence. The nodal officer, who considered this to be gross negligence, sent his report to the government. Based on their report, the government quickly took notice and suspended CMS Dr. Ratanpal Singh Suman of the District Hospital and Nodal Officer of El Two Kovid Hospital.
