The son of Havildar Anuj Tomar (42) Mahavir Singh, who lives in Rankht, died of a heart attack while on duty. Subedar Sudhir Kumar and Havildar Yogesh Kumar from Shillong arrived that morning with the body of Anuj in his ancestral village of Ranchkar. People from the area and the village gathered in their homes. During this time the family members of Father Mahavir Singh, Mother Mukesh, Ms. Meenakshi, Son Aditya, Brother Tarun, Upendra, Uncle Virendra, Surendra, Mahendra, etc. were in poor health. A large number of people took part in Anuj’s funeral procession, which was decorated with garlands of flowers. Army members from Meerut Cantt saluted with military honors. Here the former MLA Veerpal Rathi, Kuldeep Ujjwal, Vedprakash Fauji, Virendra Singh, Amit, Naresh Idrishpur etc. paid tribute to Anuj. The eldest son was given by Aditya.
