An oath was taken to 42 village heads in Block Sadar. At the same time, the schedule for holding the first meeting in the Gram Panchayats was also set. The first meeting will take place on Saturday.
As part of the by-elections, following the completion of the voting process for the vacant posts in the district for Gram Panchayat members, the village chiefs and Gram Panchayat members were sworn oath via a virtual medium in accordance with government instructions on Friday.
