Banwari Singh, Panchayat Raj district official, has severely warned 62 Panchayat secretaries for negligence in the construction of the priority Panchayat houses. In 109-gram panchayats of the district, the work of the panchayat houses is incomplete, while money was sent to these gram panchayats eight months before the government level, but the construction progress is very poor.
The government level stated the goal of building new panchayat houses in the 184 gram panchayat of the district. In this regard, the land marking process for the construction of Panchayat houses in all of the Gram Panchayats has been completed by the Panchayat Raj Department. A cost estimate was also made for the construction of Panchayat Ghar. Eight months ago, the government also made funds available for the construction of panchayat houses in these Gram panchayats so that the construction of panchayat houses could be completed at the earliest.
Priority instructions have also been given many times for the construction of Panchayat Ghars, but here at the local level the Panchayat Secretaries are negligent in the construction of Panchayat Ghars. In the earlier review, the DM expressed displeasure with poor progress in the construction of Panchayat Ghars.
Measures have now been taken in this matter by the department level. The work of the panchayat houses in 109-gram panchayats is still incomplete against the target in the district. DPRO Banwari Singh has issued a serious warning to 62 Panchayat secretaries. He gave instructions and said the department would take disciplinary action if construction is not completed by June 15.
