By lowering mustard oil and refinery prices, the inflationary common people have great relief. The price of mustard oil has decreased by 20 rupees per kg and the price of refined oil has decreased by 30 rupees per kg. According to the experts, this softening came after the farmers took out the mustard stock in the mandis. The organizers of wedding ceremonies also benefit from this oil price drop during the wedding season.
It is noteworthy that the Indian market has become dependent on foreign edible oils as the production and yield of oilseeds do not meet demand. To meet this demand, up to 50 percent of the oil is imported. With the drop in the price of oil on the foreign market, edible oil prices in the district are now also falling.
Experts say that many farmers had stored mustard, which caused mustard to disappear in the mandis. This was also one of the reasons for the rise in mustard oil prices. Due to the increasing market introduction of mustard, the price of oil has fallen by 20 rupees per kg. The price of the refined Corona, which sold at 175 rupees per liter during the period, has also hit 130 rupees per kg.
The oil prices in the overseas market have fallen. The farmers who had mustard in store are now also putting mustard on the market. In such a situation, mustard oil and refinery prices go down. This will relieve the common people.
