Hathras: Potential Nutrition Promotion Campaign runs from July 1st to October 2nd

The Department of Child Development and Nutrition will run a one-stage campaign from July 1st to October 2nd to promote possible nutrition in the district. This campaign is a new initiative to identify and treat Sam, Mam and severely underweight children. A weight week is currently being organized in all Anganwadi centers from June 17th to June 24th for children between the ages of zero and five.
CDPO Rahul Verma announced that there will be biweekly activities at the center from July to September where all sam, ma’am and parents of seriously disadvantaged children will be gathered and informed. To this end, activities such as growth monitoring, demonstration of nutritional recipes, advice and nutritional rangoli are organized.
Thereafter, the Anganwadi staff will take over the nutritional management of Sam / Mam and severely underweight children during the home visit. A diet table can also be used for this. District Program Officer (DPO) DK Singh announced that according to the letter from Director Dr. Sarika Mohan will organize a weight week from June 17th to 24th. From July 1st to October 2nd, a single-stage campaign to promote possible nutrition will be launched.
