DM Ramesh Ranjan issued a complaint to the village chief about an exhibition after confirming the forged box certificate from the chief of Gram Panchayat Chandaiya. The notice directed him to provide clarification on the matter. If the explanation is not satisfactory, action will be taken to remove the head from his post.
In the past, the applicant Himanshu Sengar made a complaint against the newly elected village chief of Gram Panchayat Chandaiya, Anju Devi, for his election as village chief on the basis of a forged caste certificate. As a result of the complaint, a four-member committee was formed at the district level to review the caste certificate. The certificate has been verified by the commission. During the investigation, the committee found that the Jat caste certificate issued by village chief Anju Devi was forged. Based on this, action has been taken to delete box certificate number 131213001109.
Based on the investigation, the committee was found guilty of being elected head of the backward Jat caste by using forged certificates and violating the rules of the three-tier panchayat general election. Because of these two deficiencies, DM issued a complaint to the village chief asking for clarification. He said that if the reply to the communication is not received in a timely and satisfactory manner, it will be considered that you have accepted all the allegations. In such a situation, action will be taken to abolish your financial and administrative rights and form a three-member committee in the Gram Panchayat.
