Hathras: Administration Gave Final Shape To The Preparations For The Mass Marriage Ceremony

Chief Development Officer (CDO) RB Bhaskar held a meeting with the concerned officials regarding the implementation of the program to be organized on August 25 under the Chief Minister’s mass marriage scheme. The CDO said that the main objective of the scheme would help in eradicating the evils spread in the form of dowry system in the society. Instructions were given to take special care of the eligibility of the couples participating in the program. In-charge Minister Bhupendra Singh Chaudhary will attend the function as the chief guest.
District Social Welfare Officer Shivkumar said that for the marriage and remarriage of marriageable girls, widows, abandoned, divorced women of needy, destitute and poor families living below the poverty line, financial assistance is provided through marriage grant scheme. Mass marriages are organized through the ‘Chief Minister mass marriage scheme’.
While reviewing the preparations for this program, the CDO said that all the officers should not take any kind of hesitation in discharging their responsibilities in the function. He said that the minister-in-charge would attend the program as the chief guest. All the block level officers should take care of the arrangements for the joints, accessories etc. of their respective blocks. Dialogue
