Hastinapur Transformer Damaged, Water Supply Stalled

Jhansi. The transformer of village Hastinapur is bad for a month. Due to this, the supply of water from tubewell number four in Manyavar Kanshiram residential colony located in Karari is stalled. Colonists are worried about water.
There are 1900 accommodation in Manyavar Kanshi Ram Colony Karari. There are five different tubewells operated for water supply. Out of this, tubewell number four is running closed for a month. The reason for this is that the transformer through which the power is supplied to the tube well is not working properly. The people of the colony, who are dependent on this tubewell, are facing water problems due to transformer failure since a month. Forcing people living on the third floor here have to get down and fill water with hand pumps. The residents of the colony complain about the lack of water, but till now no solution has been found.
In this regard, Jal Sansthan’s assistant engineer Anil Kumar said that he has given information to the electricity department many times, but till now the transformer has not been changed. Due to this the water supply is stopped.
On the other hand, Shailendra Katiyar, Executive Engineer (Rural) of Electricity Department said that the information about transformer failure has been received. It will be rectified soon.
