The Harela festival is celebrated in the city of Shukdev
Muzaffarnagar, Morna. The planting took place on Wednesday as part of the Harela Mahotsav week organized in Shukdev City in Shuktirth.
It was initiated by Mahamandaleshwar Swami Gopaldas Maharaj by planting a sapling of Rudraksh. Sandeep Balyan also planted seedlings with the inspiration of Dr. Harish Rautela, associated with RSS. Maha Mandleshwar Swami Gopaldas Maharaj highlighted the importance of trees. Said trees are the guardians of the identity and nature of Indian culture. He called on people to help cleanse the environment by planting medicinal plants. Amit Rathi, Parameshwara Brahmachari, Vishesh Puri, Swami Tulanand, Bholadas, Shankar Mishra, Mahendra Chauhan, Acharya Inderpal, Devendra Arya and Puneet Kumar were present.
