Hardoi, Water, Hardoi News – Pipeline drinking water project will help 23,000 people in seven villages

Hardoi. There is good news for 23 thousand people living in seven villages from different development blocks in the district. Here, as part of the National Jal Jeevan Mission, water will come from the tap in every household under the Rural Pipeline Drinking Water Scheme. The pipeline will be laid in these seven villages over the next 15 days.
The central government has set itself the goal of supplying every household with tap water by 2024. To this end, the Jal Jeevan National Mission must install a water tank and supply line in the villages by approving the drinking water system for rural pipelines in each village. Although the proposal for a pipeline drinking water system was sent to the government in more than half a hundred grams of panchayat from the district, seven of these proposals were approved.
The proposal of the villages of Ekghara and Palpur Bairagikheda of the Ahirori Development Bloc, Majreta and Balehra of the Bawan Development Bloc, Sursa, Bannapur and Bhelavan of the Sursa Development Bloc was approved by the government.
Under the Jal Jeevan Mission in Ekghara Village of the Ahirori Development Block, a total project of Rs.3 Crore 49 Lakh 82,000 was approved, from building the water tank to making faucet connections in each house. Similarly, the government in Palpur Bairagikheda has approved a project of Rs.4 crore 26 lakh 51,000. The government has approved a project of Rs.4 crore 80 lakh 93,000 in Majreta village of the Bawan Development Bloc and Rs.3 crore 40 lakh 50,000 in Balehra. For Sursa Gram Panchayat 3 crore 28 lakh 91 thousand rupees were approved. 4 crore 43 lakh 34,000 rupees were approved for Bannapur and three crore 92 lakh 86,000 rupees for Bhelawan.
In seven villages, 22,870 people will benefit if the project is approved by the government. 2820 people from Ekghara and 3550 people from Palpur Bairagkheda will benefit. 3,640 residents of Bannapur, 2,620 residents of Sursa and 3,240 residents of Bhelawan will also benefit from the project. 2,690 people from Balehra and 4,310 people from Majreta will benefit from the project.
