The CDO carried out a surprise inspection of the Harpalpur area on June 8th. Prior to the inspection, he had requested a progress report on the work on the Catch the Rain campaign. MNREGA Deputy Commissioner Pramod Singh Chandraul had shown two ongoing works related to 48 rainwater harvesting works in the Harpalpur area. The CDO who reached the inspection body found that the ground reality was very bad. Of the two works that were shown as ongoing, one has not worked for almost a year, while the other has also been closed for a long time. The CDO has expressed its displeasure with this situation and has requested a response from MNREGA’s Deputy Commissioner, Pramod Singh Chandrol.
