Garhmukteshwar. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, for example, a Lakh devotee from various states and counties took a bath after reaching Brajghat on the banks of the Ganges. On the holy feast of Guru Purnima, the arrival of the devotees began on the morning of the Ganganagari Brajghat on Saturday. The devotees reached the main bathing ghat and other ghats in Brahma Muhurta and began to take faith in Maa Ganga. The bath that began in Brahma Muhurta lasted until evening. During this time, more than one lakh followers took a bath in the Ganges with the chants of Maa Ganga. Most of the devotees heard the story of Lord Satyanarayana from the priests who were present on the banks of the Ganges and prayed for relief from the corona infection by reaching Brajghat and nearby temples and worshiping their respective deities.
