Garhmukteshwar. In order to promote tourism in Ganganagari, around 100 crores of development work were carried out, which, however, could not be inaugurated even after a year. These include Ganga Ghat, Laser Show, Amusement Park and Guest House of Tourism Department in Brajghat.
During his arrival in Brajghat on July 5, 2017, CM Yogi Adityanath announced the establishment of the Vedic City in Garh-Brajghat. Among which the instructions were given to build new modern ghats on the banks of the Ganges, a guest house of the tourism department, an amusement park for children and devotees and a laser show on the bank of the Ganges. This work was completed about a year ago but has not yet been published.
Tourism department’s guest house, built from 5.63 crores
A new guest house was built by the tourism department near the parking lot at the PWD guest house in Brajghat. For which Rs 5 crore 63 lakh were spent. But so far the guest house has not been inaugurated.
The laser show from 3.25 crores has also stopped
To beautify Ganga Ghat, the tourism department built a laser show and colorful fountains for around Rs 3 crore 25 lakh. Through which the history of the city of Ganga is depicted on the waves of Ganga. The laser show is also ready.
new ghats built from 80 crores
Two years ago the irrigation department built a new ghat for 80 crores near the crematorium, with canopies for passengers, modern lighting, room for changing clothes and toilets. So that the visiting passengers and trailers can make themselves comfortable. This was not published either.
Amusement park built with 3.11 billion
In Alamgirpur, Brajghat, an amusement park was built with an investment of Rs.3.11 billion. Sports facilities such as swings, slides, benches and toilets are available in the park. Different types of plants were also planted. But from now on this park is closed.
Not started due to Corona
In Ganga Nagari, the development work and the embellishment of the ghats have been completed. For their introduction, discussions were held with CM Yogi Adityanath.
