During excavations in an old house in Maudaha of Hamirpur, the workers were churned up by the discovery of silver coins in an earthen pot in the ground. The workers distributed the coins among themselves, but as soon as they found out, the landlord took the coins in his possession from the workers and stopped work, paying them five hundred rupees as wages.Ayub’s son Inayat Hussain, a resident of Narhiya town, was digging with workers to have his old house built on Sunday. Suddenly silver coins came out of the earthen pot in the ground. The workers distributed the coins among themselves, thus protecting the owner’s eyes.

But as soon as he found out about it, Ayub stopped construction after taking coins from the workers and paying them five hundred rupees as wages. This incident has become a topic of discussion among the population. In this regard, the landowners advocate Mohammad Sadiq said that the workers excavated the old house and found some coins with the image of Queen Victoria. The number of coins is reported as eight-nine.
