Sitapur. Govind Sugar Mill Limited Era Khamaria Lakhimpur Kheri prepares and supplies low quality sugar. This sugar is also lacking in sweetness, moisture and dust particles. In the laboratory test, the sugar sample failed in the unsafe category. The Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA) issued a notification to the sugar mill’s Senior Officer Cell after the sample report failed.
In February last year, the FSDA team examined the warehouse in the sugar factory district and sent samples of the sugar in the warehouse to the laboratory for analysis. The sugar supply in the camp was also confiscated until the investigation report came. Recently there was a stir in the test report received from the laboratory because of the failure of the sugar factory’s sugar sample in the unsafe (hazardous to health) category.
The FSDA launched test control measures after complaining that the Kasraila Akbarpur sugar factory warehouse was operating without a license. Food Safety Officer Ravindra Nath Verma said the team also had significant storage deficiencies in February when the team took action against the failure. Sacks of sugar were scattered. The maintenance was extremely poor.
For this reason, up to the arrival of the investigation report 11619, sugar sacks in the delivery were confiscated. The sale of inventory has now been banned after the investigation report found a misconduct. FSO Ravindra Nath Verma said the notification was issued after the unsafe sample arrived.
