Neither the city administration nor the local public representatives are paying attention to the problem. Local people say that if the sewer line is built or if the drain is deepened and cleaned, then the problem will be reduced.
In front of the Kovid hospital, next to the district hospital, a large pond like pond has been filled with dirty water for months. Right in front of it is the residence of the employees working in the health department.
Due to non-availability of drainage system, hundreds of employees, families and patients and attendants coming to the hospital have to bear the brunt of this filth. There is always water logging next to the emergency ward of the district hospital. Patients and their attendants going to get the OPD form have to go through dirty water. In such a situation, the people coming to the hospital remain at risk of diseases.
