Tunisha Sharma’s suicide is one of those mysteries that everyone wants to solve. People have started to take sides and still no one knows why this beautiful and successful girl decided to take such a radical step. Adding to the discussion was BN Tiwari, Chairman of FWICE (Federation of West Indian Film Employees). He came forward and blamed the producer of Ali Baba Dastan-e-Kabul for the death of 20-year-old Tunisha Sharma.
Speaking to ETimes TV, BN Tiwari said: “The producer is responsible for this death. So far, no such statement has come to light. Preparations for the shoot continue. The producer should have looked into the matter when the lead couple were at odds. Police have yet to call the producer for questioning. There was no ambulance on the set. This is a red flag to all manufacturers that if they do not act correctly, a case may be made against them.”
Previously, he spoke of all the measures and steps to take care of the mental and health well-being of all the actors and people who work on the sets. She then said, “There will be a meeting with the producer body, there should be consultations for all cast and crew members. This is the first time this has happened on sets and we don’t want it to become a practice. This has to stop, it’s so embarrassing for the movie industry, so now we can’t wait to meet the producers and discuss it.”
As of now, actor Sheezan Khan, Tunisha’s ex-boyfriend and co-star is in police custody after Tunisha’s mother filed a complaint against him for incitement to suicide.
