Four New Dengue Patients Including Couple In Sonbhadra


Negligence continues in spite of the intense campaign for the prevention of dengue. Four new patients were found in the district on Wednesday. Two of these are from Robertsganj Nagar. Two other patients are from Duddhi. Now the number of dengue patients in the district has gone up to 27.
People are being made aware about the prevention of dengue by running a campaign on behalf of the District Panchayati Raj Department in the Municipality, Nagar Panchayat and rural areas. Under this, people are being motivated not to allow water stagnation in the houses including coolers, old buckets, boxes, tyres, noises and other places. Spraying of anti-mosquito drugs is also going on. Despite this, the outbreak of dengue mosquitoes persists. On Wednesday, dengue was confirmed in a couple resident of Patel Nagar, Robertsganj. Apart from this, two people from Duddhi were also found infected with dengue. According to DM Abhishek Singh, dengue patients are being treated by getting them admitted to various hospitals. In view of the danger of dengue, notices have also been given to 17 people. There is a possibility of breeding of disease-carrying mosquitoes in their homes and establishments.
