Four Chcs Got Awards In Kayakalya Award Scheme

Mirzapur. Under the Quality Assurance Program, four community health centers of the district have received awards in the Kayakalp Award Scheme 2020-21. In this, Rajgarh CHC got eighth position in the district and three other CHCs got consolation prize. District Magistrate Praveen Kumar Lakshakar and CMO Dr. PD Gupta congratulated four CHCs for being rewarded in the Kayakalp Award scheme. Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. Ajay Kumar informed that the CHCs of the district were included in the Kayakalp Award scheme under the Quality Assurance Program. District, non-district and state teams come and investigate the CHC in three phases. The team gives numbers after checking the treatment, cleanliness and other arrangements in the hospital. The hospital getting more than 70 percent marks is rewarded. In this Rajgarh Community Health Center got 88.3 marks. CHC got eighth position in the state. He has received one lakh 50 thousand rupees as an award. Apart from this, Community Health Centers Jamalpur, Chunar and Lalganj have got one lakh rupees as consolation prize for scoring more than 70 percent marks. In this, the superintendent of the hospital, all the staff and the quality assurance team of the district made an important contribution. Due to the program, quality facilities like biomedical waste, medical management, infection control protocol and maternal and child health services have been improved in the hospitals of the district. 25 percent of the prize money will be given to the hospital staff and 75 percent for providing health facilities in the hospital.
