Tundla (Firozabad). GRP Tundla provided information on children trafficked on the North East Express from Katihar to Delhi. As soon as the GRP arrived in Tundla, four underage children and two teenagers sitting in different carriages on the train were shut down and an investigation was initiated. The North East Express, which runs from Kamakhya to Anand Vihar, arrives in Tundla at around 6.45pm on Sunday. GRP Tundla had previously been informed from the police control room that children were being taken for human trafficking in various carriages on the train. GRP officer Yogendra Yadav was alerted as soon as the information was received.
As soon as the train arrived in Tundla, GRP staff began inspecting all of the train’s cars. During the inspection, the GRP picked up four children and two young people accompanying them from the train. After about two hours of interrogation, it turned out that it was not human trafficking but relatives. Young people detained by GRP, Mohammad Sajid and Dilip Kumar Pandit, said that all four underage children were their relatives.
Everyone traveled with him from Katihar to Anand Vihar. The GRP also gathered information by speaking to the families of underage children over the phone. Then the GFK and railway officials sighed in relief.
Four underage children were thrown off the train. Two young people were also taken into custody with them. All points of view were questioned. It’s not about human trafficking, it’s about kinship.
