Ambedkar Nagar. Five people, including a woman, were injured in traffic accidents at various locations in the district. All the injured were admitted to the district hospital, from where one was referred to the KGMU Lucknow.
Ramanuj, 32, a resident of Dostpur under the Dostpur police station in the neighboring Sultanpur district, wanted to cycle to Akbarpur on Friday morning. When he arrived at Bewana Police Station near the village of Rampur Sakarwari, he was reportedly caught by a truck driving past. therefore he was badly wounded. He was taken to the district hospital, where, after seeing his condition critical, he was referred to the KGMU Lucknow after first aid.
On the other hand, Bewana resident Santosh Kumar, 25, was seriously injured in a bicycle collision near the city while riding his bike to Akbarpur that morning. Jagannath, 45, a Kichhacha resident under the Baskhari Police Station, was injured in a tractor-trolley collision near Kichhauchha late Thursday evening while cycling home from Baskhari.
At the same time, Shamim, 56, a resident of Lorpur in the Akbarpur Kotwali region, was injured in a bicycle collision near the city on Friday morning while riding a bicycle to Akbarpur. Archana Devi, 35, a Kashmiriya resident at Aliganj Police Station, was injured when she was crossed the street near the house when she was hit by a bicycle that morning. All of the injured were admitted to the district hospital.
