In the 2020-21 academic session, the students of the Bachelor classes held a sit-in in Tehsil, in which they demanded not to take the university’s exams without a vaccination university and to withdraw the new examination scheme. The memorandum addressed to the Prime Minister on behalf of the students was given to the office in Tehsildar.
Under the direction of the youth social worker Abhinav Agarwal Ed., Sharib Ansari, Parul Gautam, many graduates and doctoral students reached Tehsil on Tuesday and staged a sit-in strike. The students, holding posters with slogans in their hands, urged the state government and Rohilkhand University not to take university exams without 100 percent vaccination of the students. The new examination scheme was described as damaging the future for the students and asked not to implement it. Students argued that if they had a job for one subject, it would not be possible for students to prepare for three books in subjects like math at the same time. The students demanded that the examinations be carried out according to the old model, on the grounds that the students would also have to suffer psychological stress in other subjects when preparing for the exam due to questioning. Rishabh Kumar, Avnish, Pankaj, Lavkush, Priyanka, Saurabh, Pawanpreet Kaur, Vipul, Anjana Rani, Vikas, Yash Kumar, Nikhil Yadav, Aman Rajput, Rahul, Mohit, Arshad, Sudarshan, Tinku, Vineet etc. were present.
