If the medication does not provide relief, surgery is needed. Doctor Devesh said that the treatment for this disease is mainly through the endoscopy method. This method is less complex. It only takes about 30 minutes. The patient doesn’t even have to be hospitalized for a long period of time. This procedure can also be performed on heavy patients. These operations are risky.

According to Dr. Devesh plastic and metal stents are used in endoscopy. Plastic stunts are used in the gastro department of the BHU. The patient from Ghazipur also came with pus problems around the pancreas, he also had liver disease. In such a case, a plastic stunt will not work well. A metal stunt was used with the patient’s consent.

This method is called a cystogastrostomy. Said this process was done for the first time in BHU. In addition, the treatment with this method only started in BHU in Purvanchal. Dr. Devesh Yadav said he has also previously performed 15-20 cases of cystogastrostomies that used plastic stunts in BHU.
