Saharanpur. Typhoid is spreading rapidly in the district. A large number of typhoid patients are reaching government hospitals as well as private doctors. More than 50 patients of typhoid are coming to the OPD of SBD district hospital alone every day. The special thing is that even typhoid testing is not being done in the hospital lab.
Physician Dr. Anil Kumar Vohra of SBD District Hospital said that most of the fever patients who reach him are of typhoid. More than 200 patients visit the OPD every day, of which 25 to 30 percent patients have symptoms of typhoid. On the other hand, Physician Dr. Sanjeev Gilani said that for the past one month, suddenly the patients of typhoid have increased. Every day 25 to 30 patients come to him for treatment of typhoid. He told that the number of typhoid patients increases even during the rainy days. People should take special care of cleanliness in the food, because typhoid is caused due to contaminated food.

Drug in-charge of SBD District Hospital, Dr. KV Singh said that there is no shortage of medicines in the hospital. Recently medicines worth Rs 2 lakh have been purchased. At present, adequate medicines for almost all diseases are available in the hospital.

High fever, headache and muscles, abdominal pain and vomiting.
Blood pressure drops below 90.
– Pulse rate going above 110.
Excessive yellow urine with fever.
– Difficulty in breathing.
– Swelling and coldness of hands and feet.

Do not eat things made from milk.
Undercooked meat should not be eaten.
Outside juice should not be drunk.
Fast food should be avoided.
Do not use vegetable prepared in the morning in the evening.

There was no typhoid test kit for about 15 days in the pathology lab of SBD District Hospital. In such a situation, the patients reaching the lab for examination were returning unharmed. But now the kit has arrived. Patients can get tested on the advice of the doctor.
