Fertilizer Crissis – Manure sold three times more than committees at private shops

Rampur. About three times more manure was sold from the committees at the private fertilizer shops, while the farmers on the committees are troubled by the shortage of manure. In such a situation, the supply of fertilizers from AR Co-operative to private shops has been banned. In this way, now farmers will be able to get fertilizer only from the committees of their area. Along with this, black marketing of manure will also be stopped. In such a situation, there is talk of shortage of fertilizers on many committees, due to which there is uproar every day. That too when there is no shortage of manure in Rampur. In such a situation, when the records were checked with AR Co-operative, it was found that more and more fertilizers have been supplied to the private shopkeepers from the committees, whereas it should have been that more fertilizers should have reached the committees. For example, in Rampur, only 7900 metric tonnes of manure has been sold from cooperative societies, while 22358 metric tonnes of fertilizer has been given to private shopkeepers. In such a situation, the shopkeepers have hoarded the fertilizers and the farmers are facing the shortage of fertilizers. To overcome this problem of the farmers, AR Co-Operative Harendra Kumar investigated the supply of fertilizers, in which it came to the fore. In such a situation, he decided not to supply fertilizer to private shops and IFFCO and IFFCO at private shops. Kribhco’s supply of manure was banned. There are about 115 private fertilizer shops in the district. In such a situation, now farmers will get fertilizer only from the cooperative societies of their area. So, farmers will not have to worry about fertilizers. He said that adequate quantity of fertilizers would be supplied to the cooperative societies. The farmers of the district will not be allowed to worry about fertilizers.
