Daughter-in-law On returning from Chitrakoot, the retired inspector’s bolero tipped over after reaching the boundary of a temple near the village of Sidhav. Five members of his family, including a retired inspector, were injured in the accident. The passers-by took everyone out and took them to the hospital. The accident happened while the driver was sleeping.
Gyanendra Kumar Dubey, 60, a resident of Jairam Nagar, Fatehpur, retired as a LIU inspector in January. He returned from Chitrakoot with his family on Thursday afternoon. He was accompanied by Mrs. Sumanlata (55), son Divya Prakash Dubey (25), his wife Shivani (21), daughter Shikha Tiwari and son-in-law Yogendra Tiwari (28), resident of Verma Tiraha Fatehpur and driver Satyam Kumar (30).
As soon as his bolero arrived near the Kali Mata Temple in the village of Sidhav in the Lalauli Police Station, Satyam took a nap. The car got out of control and hit the perimeter of the temple and overturned on the side of the road. All five people were seriously injured in the accident. The passers-by pulled everyone out and took them to the hospital. Relatives obtained information there and took everyone to Sadar Hospital.
When they got the news, CO Jafarganj DC Mishra and the responsible Datauli outpost Satyapal Singh arrived at the place. All are treated in the district hospital. Lalauli SHO Yogendra Kumar said the police had obtained the information about the accident. The injured were admitted to the district hospital.
