Farrukhabad News – Fever spread in Barna elderly village, health team set up camp

Kamalganj. By setting up camps in seven villages of the area, the teams examined 353 patients and gave medicines on Friday. In this, more than 200 were found suffering from fever. These patients were tested for malaria, typhoid and dengue. People were also made aware to keep cleanliness around the houses.
More than 100 people including Parmesh, Jyoti, Nikhil, Chandan, Ramu are in the grip of fever for a week in Barnabujurg village. Most of the patients are getting treatment in a private hospital in Fatehgarh. In some villages, they are taking medicines by quacks.
On receiving the information, the Health Department team set up a camp in the village on Friday. 55 patients were examined in the camp. In this, samples were taken for malaria of 31 patients, dengue of 10 and typhoid for 14. The team examined 59 people in Barna Khurd village. In this, 20 were tested for malaria, 11 for typhoid and eight for dengue. Umesh of Barnabujurg village told that four people in the family are suffering from fever. The team returned after giving medicine to only a few people.
National Mobile Medical Unit team organized a camp in Jiragour village. Pharmacist Sher Singh examined 55 patients and gave medicines. In this, 24 were investigated for malaria, typhoid. Medicines were given to 51 patients in Nagla Khemerangai village. Here 14 were tested for typhoid, 10 for malaria and four for dengue. Tested 70 patients in Gauspur. In this 53 were found suffering from fever. Medicines were given after examining 34 patients in Darora and 29 in Peri Nawada. Many people suffering from fever were also found in these villages. Medical Officer-in-Charge Dr. Somesh Agnihotri said that patients were examined by setting up camps in seven villages. People were also made aware to keep cleanliness around the houses.
