Farmers will get online membership in sugarcane committees
Bijnor. Farmers will no longer have to go to the departments to join the sugarcane committee. Online membership is being provided to the farmers by the sugarcane department. Farmers are being made aware about this.
Till now farmers had to fill the membership form manually. In this, the farmers had to go through a long process to submit the records related to revenue and sugarcane area and the officers had to go through the rounds. Now the sugarcane department can subscribe online from its mobile itself. The farmer will have to choose the option of new membership by going to the option of action on the department’s website enquiry.caneup.in regarding his photo, bank account passbook, revenue khatauni, identity card like Aadhar card, driving license and declaration form regarding sugarcane area. The farmer will fill the desired information and upload his records. After this, a receipt will be given on giving this information.
Within four days of registration, the farmer will get the second receipt by showing this receipt in his committee and depositing a fee of Rs 221. After this, the details of the farmer will be visible on the login of the committee secretary and senior cane development inspector. The verification of the information given by the farmer will be done by the Senior Sugarcane Development Inspector. After getting everything right, the farmer will get the membership of the committee. Its last date has been fixed as 30 September. According to District Sugarcane Officer Yashpal Singh, an application can be made to become a member of the committee for the first time. The sooner the farmers complete the process, the sooner their sugarcane area will be verified.
